With lots of their compositions, some recorded by them and others that became hit records for other artists, the show is a timeline of their music and contains many backstage stories and anecdotes, taking the audience on a journey from the early days of Carole’s career, co-writing with her partner Gerry Goffin, to her later work with James Taylor. Throughout the show, there are stories and projected illustrations to accompany the songs.
The band features:
Rebecca Turner - critically acclaimed singer/ songwriter (described by the music press as the new Carole King) on piano and vocals.
Michael Goulding - top session guitarist (George Harrison in The Trembling Wilburys show) on guitar and vocals.
Tony Hammond on bass guitar/vocals
John Shearer on drums (has played with some of the greats, including Steve Hackett, Uriah Heep, and The Barron Knights)
